The Houtman Abrolhos (often informally called the Abrolhos Islands) is a chain of 122 islands, and associated coral reefs, in the Indian Ocean off the west coast of Australia. These islands were named after Fredrick de Houtman, who discovered and charted them in 1619. The word Abrolhos is Portuguese for `keep your eyes open` or ` look out`. It lies about 80 kilometres (50 mi) west of Geraldton, Western Australia.
It is the southernmost true coral reef in the Indian Ocean, and one of the highest latitude reef systems in the world. It is one of the world's most important seabird breeding sites, and is the centre of Western Australia's largest single species fishery, the Western Rock Lobster fishery. From 1844 to 1945 the islands were mined for their guano, the result of many years of numerous sea birds living and breeding here. It is also well known as the site of numerous shipwrecks, the most famous being the Dutch ships Batavia, which was wrecked in 1629, and Zeewijk, wrecked in 1727.

122-st saarest 22-le on kalamehed rajanud endale elamispaigad (camp), kus püügiperioodil (15. märts kuni 30. juuni) elatakse. Lobsteripüügi korraldamiseks on Abrolhosi saared jagatud neljaks: Northern Island, Wallabi group, Easter group (Big Rat Island, Little Rat Island) ja Southern group e. Pelsaert group. West Wallabi kuulub Wallabi gruppi, mille suurimad kalameeste asumid asuvad Big Pigeoni ja Little Pigeoni saarel.
